We are open!!

The pantry opened its doors on November 5th and invited its first members to sign up to the scheme. To date we have 10 member families and will be accepting more as we get closer to Christmas.

We have received deliveries from our main supplier FareShares who collects food from supermarkets which would otherwise be wasted. We have also started to receive generous donations from local people including the West Cheltenham Churches all of which have been much appreciated.

Below is a photo of the stacked shelves and volunteer Jake Richmond who is helping the new manager Ami Walker with the daily task of keeping things in order. Jake has passed his Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification, paid for by the pantry and a requirement for all volunteers.
